![]() ![]() If GoZ does not work after upgrading Zbrush, DAZ Studio or GoZ: I do not install any additional "General Release" versions to lower the complexity and potential errors when using GoZ and other plugins. > Afaik there is currently no way to use mulitple versions of DAZ Studio in combination with GoZįor that reason I deceided to only install the "Public Build" versions of DAZ Studio to stay up to date. Whichever GoZ version was installed last determines which DAZ Studio version will be used. Different versions of DAZ Studio (like public build and general releases) have different installers for their own GoZ version. If you did run into some issues and GoZ is not working anymore for some reason hopefully this thread helps you clean up the installation. GoZ is still working with ZBrush 4R8 - DAZ Studio 4.9.4.117. If you are experienced with updating Zbrush you should not run into any issues when upgrading to ZBrush 4R8. I'd still like to know for certain though what they are. But DMC? Destroy My Computer fits o).(Edit: forum search for DMC turned up DAZ Mimic Configuration file, so could be one of them - if so, then it's of no interest to me today). *I can of course make an educated guess that the latter two are related to 3D printing, and thus of no interest to me today. The Product Library pages for those two don't seem to offer any clues. I guess that they're part of either 'DAZ Studio 4 Pro' or '3D Photoshop Bridge' as those are the only DIM-enabled items on the associated order (right click on the item in DIM > Show Order). I found a couple of items that make no sense to me* and don't want to install them till I know what they are. I've just installed DIM (always used manual installers in the past), downloaded and installed DS4.9 (via DIM), started playing (all looks good so far), and decided to redownload/reinstall all my Genesis content via DIM. Voila! You have a list of products installed by DIM without typing everything yourself. A tip to make it easy in case you don't know: go to the installed tab in DIM then select all your DIM-installed products (you can right-click then deselect software and plugins etc.) and then export to CSV. ![]() I included the reason it doesn't work in DAZ Connect where the reason is known. ![]() It is my hope the list below makes it easy to look up which products MUST be installed through DIM feel free to add to the list if you see any missing. Unfortunately its a giant pain the yazoo to remember which products to not install/update in DAZ Connect and there isn't a list of which products need to be installed through DIM (I'm somewhat surprised but please correct me if I overlooked it). I have been advised by tech support to manually uninstall these products from Connect and reinstall through DIM. There are a bunch of products which do not work correctly in DAZ Connect yet unfortunately are STILL being downloaded/installed by DAZ Connect. ![]()
